Do You Know You Own Moon?

Every day that you go outside you and look up you will see planet Earths one and only Moon. A Celestial object that is constantly falling down to earth but moving forward at such a speed that it misses the earth, or as many people call it Orbiting.

The Moon which is responsible for many things on earth, like high and low tide, myths and calenders as it appears every set number of days. However did you know that ever full moon has a name imparted to it by certain almanacs. This is impressive to think that a full Moon could be given a Name

If you didn't know the moon had a name that's OK, since the term Super moon has been heard of recently, right? No? Well a Super moon is pretty much what is sounds like, a big moon. the supper moon is when our moon gets the closest distance to the planet, sure to a person who never takes the time to appreciate the Moon it wont look much different but im truth is that it will be  a slight difference.

Well now you know two cool facts about the Moon, go out and enjoy its magnificent and relaxing view when ever it is you have the time. ^_^

Lunokhod 1 (lit. moonwalker), the first successful space rover. was Russian
Scale model of the Earth and the Moon, with a beam of light traveling between them at the speed of light(Fastest Speed Possible). It takes approximately 1.26 seconds. so if the moon were to, for god knows what reason, BLOW UP!!!! we wouldn't know for 1.26 Sec. ^_^
