Hello!

Hello, and Welcome! ^_^

I am Uli and here i will share with you my thoughts on various topics of the world and/or Universe we all reside in. But before i do i would like to introduce myself.
I am currently a student at Glendale Community Collage working for an Associate in Applied Science. I have yet to figure out what I really would like to to do for a career  but i still got plenty of time to decide.
I was born in Mexico, and raised in Texas. However i would have to say that i grew up in Phoenix having spent more than half my life here. I love cultural traditions from all over the world but especially Mexican Folklorico and its Jaripeos. I actually participate in Folklorico Dance quite a bit, Performing at special events in Phoenix. As for Jaripeos that is one of the things i would like to get into later on when i have more time.

This video shows one of my favorite dances, "El Jarabe Tapatio." I wish i had a video of myself performing this dance to show but sadly i don't so this will have to do, enjoy!

The next video gives an explanation to what a Jaripeo is. The video is quite long but for the general idea I would suggest watching at least the first 4 minutes that simply give a glimpse into what a Jaripeo is about. Then if your intrigued and don't mind a little more explanation you can continue to watch the rest of the video. Enjoy!

Aside from Traditions I love to play Tennis, I play at least three times a week, and soccer, which I play when ever I get a group together. Watching movies, TV shows, documentaries (Big fan of NOVA and Discovery), and especially Anime are also great pastimes that I couldn't do with out. Like all teenagers in this technological era I do game, but not as much as most actual gamers. I enjoy engaging in deep conversations about any topic with anyone willing to share there opinions.  I like to share my ideas and enjoy hearing opinions of others also.
